Health Concepts International (HCI) is WHO prequalified

Health Concepts International (HCI) has been prequalified by the World Health Organisation (WHO) as a quality control laboratory. HCI joins a list of five other South-East Asian quality control laboratories that have been deemed to be compliant with WHO recommended standards.

HCI is a Concept Foundation subsidiary based in Pathumthani, Thailand. Services provided include:

  • Batch and randomized testing services
  • Testing content of hormonal contraceptives (DMPA, levonorgestrel, estradiol cypionate, ethinyl estradiol) and maternal health drugs (misoprostol, mifepristone), according to the United States, European, and International Pharmacopoeias

HCI and its staff are also certified under ISO 17025 and were recently re-accredited in 2015.
