The 17 Global Goals for Sustainable Development have been adopted at the UN Summit for Sustainable Development this weekend in New York, and commitments are already being made to kickstart their implementation. These goals expand on the 8 Millenium Development Goals, and are due for 2030.

Of the 17 goals, Concept Foundation’s work aligns with Goals #3 (Good health and well-being) and #5 (Gender equality). We continue to strive towards improving access to essential maternal health medicines and family planning products, thereby contributing to reducing the global maternal mortality ratio and increasing the chances of universal access to reproductive and sexual healthcare services.
