Concept Foundation is an international not for profit organization, working on improving access to sexual and reproductive health medicines and technologies in low- and middle-income countries worldwide.

 

Founded in 1989, we operate under a collaboration agreement with the World Health Organization to promote the availability of sexual and reproductive health products at affordable prices, and their safe and effective use in low-resource settings.

Successful maternal health workshop in Uganda

Earlier this month, Concept Foundation, in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), hosted a workshop on the Optimal Procurement of Affordable and Quality-Assured Life-Saving Commodities in Kampala, Uganda. The workshop went extremely well, and Concept Foundation would like to thank all of the participants for their engagement and commitment to ensuring the access and availability of these essential maternal health medicines to women around the world.

WHO PQ publishes new guidelines on submission requirements for DMPA

The World Health Organization Prequalification of Medicines Programme has recently published a new guidance document on submission requirements for depot medroxyprogesterone acetate (DMPA) injectable contraceptive products.
