Concept Foundation is an international not for profit organization, working on improving access to sexual and reproductive health medicines and technologies in low- and middle-income countries worldwide.

 

Founded in 1989, we operate under a collaboration agreement with the World Health Organization to promote the availability of sexual and reproductive health products at affordable prices, and their safe and effective use in low-resource settings.

Generic implant receives positive ERP result

The first generic two-rod sub-dermal levonorgestrel 75mg implant product has received a positive result from the Expert Review Panel (ERP), making it the first of its kind to reach the quality standard for international procurement.

New Financing Model Announced for WHO Prequalification of Medicines and Vaccines

At the end of last month, the WHO announced the implementation of a new financing model for their Prequalification programme, to take effect in January 2017. The detailed scheme and other questions and answers that any manufacturers may have are also available on the WHO website.
