Concept Foundation was established as an international non-profit organization in Thailand in 1989 and is recognized by the US Inland Revenue Service as a charitable body. It has an office within Thailand Science Park which was set up in 2002 as a fully-integrated R&D hub for science and technology. It stands on an 80-acre site located in the outskirts of Bangkok. Thailand Science Park is also home to Concept’s subsidiary company, Health Concepts International, which provides technical services to public and private sector customers as well as an independent vehicle for analytical testing of products manufactured by its licensees.
Recently, Concept Foundation was registered as an international non-profit foundation in Switzerland, with an office in Geneva. The office provides a base for its CEO and European-based staff and consultants and is housed in the offices of Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative (DNDi), another organization dedicated to making quality drugs available, in this case for the most neglected diseases in the developing world. Concept has also been established as international non-governmental organization with a small office in Viet Nam.
