Concept Foundation’s wholly owned subsidiary, Health Concepts International (HCI), provides international standard technical and laboratory services to a variety of public and private industry customers and partners in the reproductive and maternal health field at an extremely competitive cost.
The HCI laboratory in Bangkok was prequalified by the WHO as a quality control laboratory in July 2016. It is certified under ISO 17025 (testing and calibration laboratories), and was re-accredited in May 2015. Its highly qualified staff utilizes modern equipment for testing hormonal contraceptives and other products, on behalf of pharmaceutical companies, international product development programmes and research institutions. Staff are certified as ISO 17025 auditors. Services include:
- Testing content of hormonal contraceptives and maternal health drugs, according to the United States, European and International Pharmacopoeias
- Batch and randomized testing services
- Gap analysis for Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
